Sign our Petition

Show your support for saving this historic sign by signing our online petition – http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/savejesussaves/

This petition will be used before the Zoning Board when we go to argue for a variance in the Sign Ordinance.   Currently, the City of Charlotte will not allow this sign to be mounted on the current church property on Wallace Rd. because it is too large.   However, it has historic significance and should be saved.   After we save it from being destroyed, we intend to do our best to acquire a variance in the sign ordinance to allow us to display the sign after it has been fully restored to working order.

  1. What a wonderful work…we are 5000% behind this project and look forward to what God might do with us in this adventure. In His grip, Hugh Weiss, Matthews, NC

  2. It’s the message that should be shouted from every rooftop!

  3. HEAR HEAR !!! HAS THERE EVER BEEN A TIME WHEN “THE MESSAGE” WAS NEEDED MORE THAN NOW? WITH SO MANY PEOPLE DISCOURAGED, DOWN-HEARTED AND SEARCHING FOR THE KIND OF JOY, PEACE AND HOPE THAT JESUS SO FREELY OFFERS TO THOSE WHO WILL ONLY BELIEVE?? WE, ALSO ARE “5000%” BEHIND THIS MOVEMENT!!

  4. Wouldn’t want to be the one that destroys this message.

  5. Iwen to old Garr whn I was a little Garr and was so excited to see the Neon sign as we would drive up. Jesus Saves, How powerful.

  6. This Sign is apart of my Family History 4-Generations …. I would love to be apart of saving JESUS SAVES… I know that within my Spirit that this is what God wants and A Mighty Move of God and Spirit will Come with it!! Because it is the Holy Spirit that was left behind and I believe that this is the MISSING piece!
I will pray and donate to make sure this will Happen!! It is so perfect GARR is on the Mountain Top so Jesus can be lifted up for the World to See!

  7. The sign was at the old Suttle swimming pool before being placed on top of the old church. Mom & Dad were charter members of Garr and I have alot of memories of the old church. I was elected to the board and served with some of the finest men I have ever met. Shirley and I are behind this project 100%.
